After another narrow victory against a roughly even TS matchup (only down a mere 6 points TS) in <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=906786">Round 3</a>, Slaughterhouse5000 reached out and grabbed the chamionship in a <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=911557">Round 4</a> <i>bloodbath</i> against one of the most fearsome Chaos teams on Fumbbl! As worshippers of Chaos, Slaughterhouse5000 knows that all who play Blood Bowl ultimately serve the cause of chaos...from the mayhem of a Dwarven cage midfield, to the carnage of a blitzing War Dancer...and so we honor our opponents above all else...for without them the chaos of the pitch could not exist! With the team from the start, he never missed playing in a match. He died as he lived, smashing his way through the opposition, exposing himself to danger in order to help the team win, not hiding safely behind his teammates like so many other 'mighty' chaos warriors killers do. You got your revenge Nice, and so were you revenged upon! <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2059904">Faith</a> of <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=168518">Gerbil's Avengers</a> For almost preventing our XFL Chaos win...by himself...several times (including sending Buck to meet the crowd, and concluding with meeting the crowd himself!) Now the SlaughterHouse prepare for a shot at the XFL Masters...no longer the underdogs they once were in the XFL...will they be able to triumph from atop the pile as well as they smashed their way out from under it? SlaughterHouse tries to stay humble, realizing they may have a big TR, but are still basically the same bunch of worthless, shiftless, directionless chumps they were back when that <i>counted</i> for something! Glory Daze! SlaughterHouse put out a pathetic performance in round 2 of the XLF masters, and are defeated. Such is the life of a chaos team... On Fumbbl's 5th Birthday, SlaughterHouse5000 took part in 3 Speed Freak Challenges. While we sure didn't win any of them, we definitely left a mark (or would have...but for the clearing of all permanent casualties) with the best casualty delta in each tourney: <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=1&group=4966&show=19775">SFC LVII = 27 casualties (7 against)</a> <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=1&group=4966&show=19785">SFC LXIV = 24 casualties (10 against)</a> <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=1&group=4966&show=19792">SFC LXVIII = 25 casualties (5 against)</a> Think that was abuse of the system? Consider this: Shut Up. Also consider this: I don't have time to build an Uber-team by cherrypicking and playing 1000 Ranked games like some other coaches do. So I did it this way. Also: Stop whining, they'll die/age soon enough. What sort of teams do you think I'll be able to play with this lineup? SlaughterHouse5000 disgrace themselves in the second round of the Fumbbl Cup, getting mauled and causing nary a permanent injury, even with OT. Of course, we could blame the disconnect, which we always end up getting royally screwed after (except once I think). Well, anyway, whatever. For their next amazing trick, SlaughterHouse5000 enters the XFL Chaos III, no doubt dreaming of their first XFL win! Of course, it might have been prudent to recover the team first, and not go into the tourney with two MNG... |
