The Emerald Queens Fitness Club The Emerald Queens Fitness Club - Behind such an illustrious name hides a very down to earth gym, often revered to as the training-tavern, due to the extensive collection of alcoholic baverages behind the protein bar. The club cateres exclusivly to greenskinned females with a passion for bodybuilding, parkour, weightlifting and unarmed combat sports. A large percentage of staff and regulars are halfbloods of some kind, making the club a bit unique, if frowned upon by people with certain "views". The proud owner and training mentor for most regulars is a middleaged orc named Morra Khan. She and her two daughters run the club with unbroken enthusiasm, always being part of the ambience. Ambience being a healthy mixture of hard training and bloody sparring matches. The idea of forming a bloodbowl team came somewhat spontanious as a sort of competitive teamtraining exercise. Regulars and staff knowing each other for years, the little fanatic community feels more like family than aquaintances most of the time. Family that likes to fight and be physically competitive, that is. Not having gotten around to a standardized uniform, the girls simply went with "wear something red, blood is a pain to wash out." Hence a few personal style choices. Not many people know this, but the roots of the Emerald Queens Fitness Club lie way back in Morra's past, in a small and poor orphanage for halfbloods and unwanted minorities (mostly greenskins of some sort). Having taken a chance after the birth of her two girls, she successfully financed a small tavern and built it up as a save haven and community for other girls with similar social backgrounds. We hear that there will be a foto calendar next year, featuring the twelve best players in their favourite pasttime. |
