The battle between devil kings was so fierce it burnt the land, dyed the sea, and shredded the sky. In the end of the battle, the winner Zeon, was called the king of kings by all devils. The other two kings who envyed him attacked Zeon and sealed his powers into the Jewel..... (snip!)</i> Bleh, Japanese RPG's, eh? Shining Force II was a Sega Mega-Drive game from '94. It was a tactical turn-based affair long before Final Fantasy took over the RPG World in the west. Your character Bowie (or in the English version - you named him yourself) was awoken by his mother to go to school, where he met up with his good buddies Sarah and Chester. However, their teacher was in a foul mood, evil was afoot. From there, you went off on an adventure to create a Force to slay a great evil. The game was a lot bigger and more free-roaming than almost anything I can remember of it's time, and at it's peak, your force could swell to about 30 strong.
