HISTORY OF THE HAPPY SACK KICKERS

2004- Scarborian Sewer Skulkers Coach Narlgoth reveals that he will be heading a new team. The team will be made up of a combination of Skaven and Goblins from Crookback Mountain, a Skaven lair located South East of the Old World. The team is registered as the "Crookback Breakers", but after just a couple of games Narlgoth admits that it was a bit of an optimistic name, and the team becomes known as "The Underworld Creepers".

The team becomes the bane of local leagues, with many problems both on and off the pitch. The Creepers players are uncouth, evil tempered and completely unskilled. Players often don't turn up, they constantly strike and complain about everything, and spend several months under scrutiny from the NAF for various illegal procedures. The fans love them though, as the team not only spends most of the time fighting with each other as much as the opposing players, but includes three unridden (and uncontrolled) Squigs, constantly comes up with outrageous (and usually useless) dirty tricks and commits a record number of fouls.

The Creepers fans share an equally poor reputation, as the combination of Skaven and Goblins means they tend to turn up, get drunk and then fight, smash up the stadium and attack the opposing team's fans. In the Creepers' first 10 games the fans are banned 5 times, they start 4 riots, invade the pitch 3 times and kill 2 Refs.

Although the Creepers break many records (including Most Balls Eaten in One Season and Most Dirty Tricks Played in One Season) they don't get any of their players into the local Hall of Fame, so they burn it to the ground. The team is suspended until further notice. The Creepers fans riot for 3 weeks, until the Empire sends in an army to drive them out of the Old World.

2012- Unfortunately for the Blood Bowl world as a whole the notorious Underworld team "Underworld Creepers" have been cleared back into the game after 8 years, led once again (up to a point) by Scarborian Sewer Skulkers coach Narlgoth. They've changed their name to "Happy Sack Kickers", but whose sacks they are kicking and why they are happy about it has yet to be determined!

Narlgoth has promised that they are going to be slightly better behaved then the last time, but for this team that might not mean much!

Present- They've had a tough transgression to the FUMMBL leagues, as not only have they had to let go of their famous Squig players but the newer, harsher rules regarding secret weapons has (in the opinion of the players) "taken all the fun away".

Narlgoth is happy to report that this hasn't put off the Kickers though, and the addition of Troll Blocker "Big Nibley" has raised the team's spirits (except for Big Nibley, who still doesn't quite know what a team is)!

It's clear that regardless of the future success (or most probably horrid failures) of the Happy Sack Kickers, the fans will find them one to watch! After all, where else are you going to be able to expect outrageous game plans, blatent and shocking fouls, incredibly lacking shows of skill and agility, and a Dead & Injured Box stacked high with little green and furry bodies?!

Knocked out in the first round of the Underworld XFL VII. The Kickers put up a good fight, but ultimately lost to some very poor luck.
