A massive training facility was constructed on the outskirts of Kingston to breed excellence in future generations of human Blood Bowl players. Known as "The Center of Kruelty", it's founder is a secretive blonde giant of a man for whom it seems money is no object and glory on the field is the main objective. He talks cryptically of the Emperor and a mysterious "Chapter" and seems obsessed with the health, fitness and family history of all Kruelty players. Graduates of "The Center" are grouped into Squadrons, each having the goal of dominating the Human League Conference for one or more seasons. Player loyalty lies first to the Squadron and to the Kruelty banner, then to the Emperor and humanity in general. Assault Formation: Alpha So what's the deal? I have decided that a top priority with humans is to win the Human League Conference and get another Kruelty logo into the Hall of Fame. Low TV humans are fun, and I have a few new skills and tricks to try out. I hope to help prove humans are a dominant force at new and low TV ranges. The naming convention reflects on the military nature of the Conference Assault Project and the attitude the founder has for his human recruits. The bulk of the players are in fact recruited from the Emperor's forces stationed in Kingston if they show high levels of athleticism and at least a basic grasp of tactics. The names will also be a fun reminder of just how many of each position have been consumed by the Project as the campaign continues.
