It has been many years since the Glory Gory days for Marching on Together, For the last few decades the team have slumped in statue and fallen down the leagues.

Before they were feared, their skill and grit tore through all before them, the likes of Billy Khremner and Eddie Khray terrorised opposition. Now it really is make or break.

Despite the lack of recent success the fans still flood to the games home and away, making MoT one of the most well supported teams in the league. Despite years of frustration and disappointment the fans stay true to the club desperate that this time the 12th man really will help lead their team to success at last.

Now they really are on the precipice, having bizarrely recruited veteran coach Smallballs, a coach more famed for working with the skill and finesse of ELves, than the brute force of the mighty Khemri (in fact it is reported that smallballs has yet to lead a khemri team in any form of the sport). Rumours are rife that new owners see the clubs ground and training facilities as the real cash cow and are secretly hoping the side flops.

Smallballs a previously up and coming star coach has seen his reputation tarnished after a string of high profile defeats - could this be the challenge that once again brings him back to the top table.

Gone are the days where 4 tomb guards ruled the LoS and + Ag and St blitz-Ras terrorised teams, but maybe just maybe they can rise again with the help of the fans.

Game 1 1-2 loss to Wooden Bremen (I forgot to mention the dodging intercepting Blitz ra)

A very close game which would have be drawn on a 4+ dodge, my boys came so close but alas a loss is in the column. MoT conceded a early first half try against the kick and things looked grim - an SI and a ko'd wardancer brought them back into the game to equalize just before the break. In the 2nd half the game followed suit another early WE try was so very nearly cancelled out.

Surprising after causing an SI and a Death and playing in a close game MoT lost fans - saying that Wooden Bremen were outnumbered 7:1 in the stands. The fans gained the boys a re roll but some how missed the rock which was launched, either that or they have a shocking throw (we are khemri I guess.

Match 1 - loss - and minus 1 fan factor

Match 2 - MoT fans make Orcs scared

Match 3 - The MoT fans turn up in all their glory 12,000 screaming nutters saw their Khemri team pull off a 1-0 shut out. An early BH and a foul inducing SI gave the boys the early initiative and they trundled down the pitch to score a turn 6 TD. The boys from north of the border briefly threaten to pull it level but were not quite up to the long distance pass needed to equalise. The second half saw MoT take the game to the frogs and a couple of turnovers and a apo saved death to the only skilled player put pay to any major resistance.

The game was notable for the two riots most likely caused by the MoT faithful.

Result A win (+1 FF)

After the game MoT find themselves top of the league with money and fans rolling in - rumour has it the bossman is looking for new recruits in the coming days. It is likely that a new Blitz ra or Tomb guard could be squeezed though it is doubtful the budget will stretch to both.
