The choice to field undead in an endevour like this might not be the best since they get outbashed by the bashers and outplayed by the elfes but since i so rarley play R this was the only team I had at my disposal. They entered the qualifiers with a TR of 194/215 and a stacked treasury, fielding the Count in every game and getting a bundle of handicaps was the name of thier game. With a mixture of good furtune and really bad luck they won their <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=0&group=2754&show=9513">group</a> and qualified themselfs for the finals. The price for the spot was no less then 2 Ghouls, 1 Mummy and 2 zombies, 4 of witch were killed in the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=934575">final game</a> of the Qualifier bringing them down to a meager TR of 143/143...</li> <li>Normally the team would have been crapped at this stage since they wasnt even able to field a full team for their first rebuilding game and missing several positionals. The spot in the finals made me hang in and play no less then 9 games to bring them up to TR 211/194 and a full rooster. Unfortunatley they lost another mummy and a wraith during this period but after replacing those the treasury is still full and even though we rate our chances at slim being no less then 550 points of TR after the first team we hope that the Count and some good handicaps can put us in a position to surprise everyone once again...</li> <li>As a sidenote, playing the tourney and the recovery games has given my CR a huge boost propelling me up more then 150 spots on the ranking to my first top 10 spot. :)</li> <li>Nuffle decides that no undeads are ever gonna win the FC and gives the Devils the cold shoulder. Making them roll doubleskulls and snakeeyes for a whole lifetime in a single <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=965452">game</a>. Naturally they get knocked out in the first round of the cup...</li></ul></td></tr></table> |
