This group of arch-criminals is on the run, after breaking out of the maximum security prison, 'Strongways Criminal Insane Asylum.' A major nation wide search is currently in progress to hunt down this bunch of extremely dangerous men. However at the point of escape <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973545"> Mikey 'Eyes' McGraw </a> pursuaded the killer escapees to stick together and hide in the Bloodbowl Faction Leagues, as a Bloodbowl team. Whether this plan was bourne out of the need to care for his 17 year old younger brother <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973548"> Billy 'The Baby' McGraw </a>, Mikey somehow managed to pursude this bunch of killer criminals to hide out in the professional Bloodbowl Faction Leagues. The greatest feat in this act of coercion was controlling the lumbering <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973541"> John 'Mad Jack' Jones </a> into joining the new formed team as well. So onwards they go, playing Bloodbowl, waiting for the heat and the Fuzz to die down and lose their trail. Besides how many coppers watch Bloodbowl anyway..... <b>Team Update:</b> Still free from capture the fugitives played their first professional bloodbowl match against Elves <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=85605"> Tel'Sindavathar </a> and were victorious due to there savage approach to the game. Unfortuanately the game took its toll on <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973587"> J. 'No-Name' J </a> as he aged after it, much to the dismay of his loyal lieutenant <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973585"> Jeff 'Throatcutter' Whitley </a>. Billy 'The Baby' McGraw also showed that he wasn't the burden to the side as many of his fellow convicts thought he might be by scoring and throwing 3 completed passes. <b> Team Update: </b> In the Fugitives second game they showed great restraint to beat a sprited skaven opponent called <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=84940"> Onis. </a> Demonstrating a remarkably restrained game plan inspired by <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973565"> Boris 'The Red' Bokalski </a> The Fugitives ground the result out and scored on the last turn of the match. After this match the team gained a new escapee <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=982027"> Joe 'The Reverend' Fish </a> who escaped from the criminal insane asylum New Bedlam. <b> Team Update: </b> The third match for the ever improving Fugitives led to a quick concession and retirement for their opponents <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=82809"> Dizzling Underdogs </a>. Top quality performances from the McGraw brothers and the Fugitives thrower <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973562"> Frank 'Mad-Dog' McKenna </a> led to the swift end of a hard fought match. The Fugitives have made a surprisingly successful start to the Faction season and yet have to be aware not to raise their profile too high. The consequences of this would be disastrous for there hope to stay free.... <b> Team Update: </b> The fourth faction match resulted in an easy win against an undead opponent called <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=85674"> Dead Presidents Of The US </a>. More of the Fugitives got block as they moved into third place in faction Q. However a serious injury suffered to <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973569"> Steve 'Quick Fingers' Smith </a> was a blow. This will probably be enough to gain promotion to the third level of the faction, but perhaps more games are needed to earn much needed practice for the Fugitives.... The team also recently acquired their old lawyer <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=992463"> Marty 'The Lawless' Hamilton </a>. <b> Team Update </b> The Fugitives have now been promoted from faction Q division into the third tier of the league. Their fame is rising and so they must be careful not to get caught!! For the move up into the third division the Fugitives have recruited two of their old mates from the streets. Word was put out and soon <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1022241"> Terry 'Wheels' Walker </a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1022244"> Ronnie 'Knuckles' Newman </a> joined up with the rest of the team. <b> Team Update </b> After a long hiatus hiding from the Fuzz, the Fugitives once again ventured onto the field. They performed well in overcoming the tough dwarf outfit <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=153323"> Stompy </a>. However a fight after the game led to the death of some of the fugitives players. In a mad argument about the performance on the pitch <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1022241"> Terry 'Wheels' Walker </a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973562"> Frank 'Mad-Dog' McKenna </a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973587"> J. 'No-Name' J </a> all got culled from the team. Fate will see how the team progresses from here. On a more upbeat note <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1837597"> Francis 'Nine Lives' Jones </a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1837598"> Alan 'The Gardener' Miller </a> joined the team. <b> Team Update </b> After the imfamous culling of some of the Fugitives original members, they played on again, this time coming through well against a tough Chaos Dwarf opponent <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158273"> los mas duros </a>. The run of good form for the Fugitives has raised the spirits of the group and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973545"> Mikey 'Eyes' McGraw </a> is looking forward to a prolonged spell of freedom away from the nick. <b> Team Update </b> Since the last victory the Fugitives have been busy. Maintaining their low profile and refusing to do press conferences after matches, the Fugitives have managed to move up the Faction Q table by beating three more teams, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158546"> I Got Game </a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=150522"> Hilltown Towers </a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=160640"> Blazing Acorns </a>. These three hard fought matches took the Fugitives to an impressive 12/0/0 record, proving that jail time can be good for your bloodbowl skills! The team has also acquired a couple of new cell mates in the shape of <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1858633"> Ernie 'Gangster' L'marco </a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1849416"> Simon 'Pinpoint' Purcell </a>. These new players have been a welcome help although the team was sad to have <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=973541"> John 'Mad Jack' Jones </a> dispose of popular but injured lineman <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=973569"> Stevie 'Quick Fingers' Smith </a>. The Fugitives are hoping to progress into faction three next season as the security guards at the lower league level are starting to get a bit suspicious. |
