Hexoatl Grey Guardians

The Saviors of Lustria, Closers of the Warp Gate, and Bane of Nurgle. The Hexoatl Grey Guardians were formed when the world needed heroes to stop the forces of Chaos from opening a portal to the Warp and letting loose foul daemons.

The Grey Guardians began their quest by being teleported by their Slann Mage coach to the Old World to recover the Zenith Staff, the one object that could close the portal over the Grey Guardian mountains. They fought the undead horde that was the Nifleheim Servitors and stole the staff back and returned it to Hexoatl. On their way they were constantly attacked by forces of Chaos. They repeatedly fought the wicked chaos dwarves, the Bearded Ladies, as well as the foul servants of Nurgle, the Mordheim Mighty Crabs. Their prowess in Blood Bowl saved them, and brought them back safely to Hexoatl.

In one final push as the Warp Gate was near to bringing forth a Great Unclean One, the Grey Guardians had their Wizard enact a final ritual to close the Gate. Waiting there to stop them once again was the Mighty Crabs. An epic battle was fought. One where many Skinks died, but in the end they held off just long enough for the ritual to complete and the portal to close.

This was the team's claim to fame. And while their duty to protect Hexoatl has been served, there is still plenty of Blood Bowl to play, and many chances to continue to impress their Gods.
