Henry Headtwister was different. He had always known this. He was able to actually think for himself. He knew what he was doing and what he wanted. For decades he had just done what the few other Giants he met had done. Join the Greenskins in battle in exchange for food. Not enough food?? Well he'd walk away. It really was that simple.
His life changed after 1 battle though. The whole army was pretty much destroyed. Now he thought was the time to see what else there is to do in life.
He was determined NOT to go back to fighting again.
As the years past, he made Norsca His roaming home. He would stay away from conflict. 1 Day as he was walking about, he came across this strange building. It was HUGE!! The Noise coming from inside was so loud he couldn't ignore it.
As he approached, people screamed and ran. He could see something going on from down the tunnel. He somehow managed to squeeze his way into the Stadium. He was so intrigued by this sport.
He started to come past as often as possible hoping for a game to be in progress.
One day, His Life changed FOREVER. As normal he walked toward the stadium. But instead of fleeing, the People just stood there. Coming towards him was a massive figure, Nearly as big as himself.
"YOU WANT FIGHT" This Figure yelled. "I IS MORG N THORG. I HERE TO FIGHT. Henry approached him.
"Where did you come from, you play this sport thing?"
"I BEEN PLAYING BLOODBOWL SINCE BEFORE I WAS BORN!!!. Henry started to smile hearing the mistake. Morg couldn't have been very bright.
"I want to play this sport thing as well. Why he agreed, it will never be known. Maybe respect due to his size? But Morg accepted him.
Henry was introduced to the Bloodbowl world. For many moons he would turn up to the game to watch. He had been told he was too disfigured and broken from years of fighting to be an actual player. He also learned of how much these players made.
He was employed to be security at the game. His size would stop most trouble.
One particular game, he was approached by a walking tree!!!
"I have met others like you. they live near a forest many miles from here."
He gave Henry the details. Henry decided he should check it out.
So he went to find these other GIANTS. He found the forest, and he found them!!!
Like himself, they thought they were alone. They could see he was quite clever Very strange for a GIANT.
Henry explained about this game he had discovered. He also said that by their size alone, they could become fearsome.
These other Giants didn't want to go back to fighting, and after hearing of how much they could get from this game thing, it would mean they would never have to want for food again!
Henry Asked Morg if he could train them. Morg just laughed at him. "ME TOO BUSY FOR THAT" What he did do though, was sent him to the stadium and speak to the team there to help with training.
Well seeing 5 Giants walking towards them, they quickly accepted.
It wasn't easy. Not only were Giants not very bright, they were also hungry ALL THE TIME!!!
They kept eating their team mates. they ate Orcs, Human, Elf, Lizard. It seemed nothing was safe.
That was until these tiny Sprites turned up. Everybody laughed. However, the Giants didn't seem to eat them. Perhaps it was because they were so small, they were just not worth it.
And so the Sprites joined them. A team was made. A League was found.
Now to see if these dumb Giants can actually play ball!!!
