This theory that climate change is responsible for middle eastern woes is nothing new.

Though the more reasonable view is that climate change is just accelerating the pace of the turmoil, not outright causing it.

It's still pretty much bunkum though, other than that it's the embargoes which cause the real damage, but who's responsible for the embargoes? Takes two to tango as they say.

And, as things get worse (as they will), you will see more of an impact. Water is going to be the fought-over resource of the second half of the 21st century.

Very interesting.

You bring up a good point. Who provided weapons and supplies to the Syrian rebels? Who then took those "arms" and decided to invade Iraq. Then we found out afterwards that this group had the name of ISIS or ISIL or what ever you want to call them.

Then we go over to that port city in Libya, meetings with rebel groups about weapon shipments and so forth. Ambassador getting killed, huge cover ups and so forth.

So the reason is very simple. The United States is to blame for this entire mess because "we" provided all the weapons for ISIS in the first place. Based on the Presidents speech in Turkey yesterday it seems we have no issues with ISIS and will not lift a finger to defeat them.
