What the hell man?!?
What the hell man!
My cathcers on the Blood Sea Buccaneers suck hard. I have been trying for the last 3 months to get a core of 3 catchers going, 31+ SPP not asking for much. But these lame asses keep getting sent off at a High rate and I cannot for the love of me keep them healthy, much less alive.
Coaches keep telling me a Human team with some skilled up catchers can make life hard for my opponeet and thus increase my win%
BUT there are some IF's involved with this.
1)Your catchers survive more than 10 games
2)Blodge actually means something, which it dont
3)every time your armorcracks its not a auto SI-N or higher
4)that having 3 or 4 catchers is the way to go. Iam starting to suspect foul play on the advice.
BAH!! hell with this 4 catcher Human lineup stuff.. Just give me 2 decent catchers and off I go.
Plus it probally would help if I could actually roll a stat upgrade or double on my catchers. But sadly they are the red headed step children of Nuffle when it comes to skilling up. I have had over 30 catchers on my Bucs and only 1 has had a +AG and one had a +ST, who btw was a blodge badass who got KIA on a blitz, apothed followed by a DP foul for KIA. I just cant catch a break.
Rant over, now back to bashing and fouling, stalling and in general playing like a orc until further notice.

Catchers are ST 2 and AV 7 - that means giving up lots of 2 or 3d blocks and low AV cracks more. They are useful - but need to be protected.
Try to expose them to less blocks - they will live longer that way.

Human catcher are some of the biggest pieces of poo in bloodbowl.
Seriously.. whoever told you 3-4 catcher were desireable just pulled a prank. I`d say 2 catcher tops. For oneturning attempts maybe.
Dauntless makes them decent, as does +AG. But in total.. then again - I don`t like to coach humans, because I suck at rolling those 3+ that are constantly needed.

when I played humans, the catchers always got #$%#$@#. I never bubble wrapped them. Give em blodge and sidestep and then ran them into enemy territory to cover the ballcarrier.
A tackler would smack em and bag em...but that meant the blitz didn't open up a hole in my defense. They took it for the team and we in turn gave them a nice gravestone.

Then again I wonder why you ask for 31+ spp..?
They skill quickly and do well with just blodge.
Even a well developed Lino is harder to replace...
