Where did my pestigors go?
It has been a rough weekend for A Well-Read Pestilence. Over their last nine games, the average winnings roll has been a 2, including two wins that were rerolled into 1s. Combined winnings over those nine games, after spiralling expenses, has been 160k, just enough for two pestigors. That isn't nearly enough.

Over those nine games:

- +ST pestigor Christopher Marlowe was permed into retirement by a 1d hit from a wood elf.
- AG5 pestigor Margaret Laurence, the 4th best Nurgle passer of all time, was killed by a norse berserker - no PO needed.
- +AG/Dodge/Block pestigor Franz Kafka snaked a dodge to kill himself.
- +AG/Dodge/Wrestle/Tackle/Two Heads pestigor John Keats took a perm off another 1d hit from a wood elf in the same game that Marlowe went down, but was potioned back to full health. This morning, he failed a GFI to kill himself.

The Pestilence has also suffered -AV on a Star warrior and a niggle on a Veteran rotter during that time. I am fully aware of the nature of the game - Blood Bowl and all that - but the nature of these injuries has just lent the whole thing a farcical air. Over the last week I've lost my entire pestigor lineup, including some really fun ones, and mostly to ridiculous situations.

Whinging over. Rebuild time. I'm just hoping the money rolls turn around for me!

Let's face it, he sucks.

I think those sixes I rolled to kill Margaret were the only ones the whole game. ;)

Not a good time for the Nurgle Boyz at all -

have anearly the same results here with my old Schlumpen.

Guess they are too old to press on the flood of the younger ones.

bleak indeed .

rebuild - rejoice

None of these were ClawPoMbers. These aren't the players we all want to see dying. That is a run of tough luck, though. I'm in a similar situation in that over the weekend I had 8 of my players die across various teams to only 2 killed in return. And the money rolls on the teams that suffered deaths were pretty sub-par except for 1 of them.

Nuffle is a dead-skunk-ass-raping, urine gargler. Them's tough losses, RRD. Kafka is a favorite of mine... actually not surprised he went out like that ;)

First game since posting this: 3-1 win, no perms, 70k in the bank, and a free rotter. Woot!

pythrr is right, let the birria tacos keep coming.

In my first 3 games with American Ratiators II I've had 5 deaths, all positionals. I wonder if I should continue with them and I know the answer is I will but nuffle damn me, it sucks.

Tough break on the potion-user dying so soon after getting healed. Stories like this are why I doubt I'll ever use mine unless it's to clear a MNG in a tourney. I have a lovely +ST/MB wardancer with -av/n, but he's not getting a sniff. Those things are fragile enough anyway.
