Or the best race?

I would guess if you just looked at the top coaches matches and found their games vs. dwarves that would be a good place to start.

Otherwise my top2 picks for beating dwarves would be

Chaos/Nurgle/CD (maybe necro, maybe)
or
Dark Elves

Depends on the TV.

At high tv (1800+) clawpombers (chaos, nurgle, pact, etc) make short work of dorfs. To them they are just slow norse & squish.

At low tv Elves & Skaven tend to out run them. And it could be argued, elves are better at any TV. But... Much more likely the dorfs will break the elves or rats.

Also, I find orcs a pretty even match for dorfs at any tv.

Bill pretty much said it all. I may even like skaven more than the rest of the elves vs dorks, if only because they can combine speed with c-pomb.

Race, that's easy CDs. They do everything dorfs do but better. Second best, lrb 4 ogres had a good bullying racket going on, but not now. Probably lrb4 khem too. But now it's anything with claw.

I play Khemri a lot, and am always happy to run into plain old dorfs. Although it would surely be easier to ClawPOMB them while reading a magazine and munching on cheetos.

As a dorf player that flatters himself to be ok with them, the races I fear all use clawpomb. But rats have the evil speed/ag/claw triple and feature in most dorf nightmares.

Khemri I eat for breakfast, elves without wiz don't worry me. Orcs can be tough, and craply coached claw doesn't worry me. But well coached claw will beat me most times.

If you want to watch a coach/team fight dwarves, I can't think of better than Dhaktokh's [url=http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=391622]Crossdressers[/url] - playing them with Zons and doing well is tops. Might also watch replays of KFoged's Hell Grannies playing mid-high TV against 'em in the Box.

4 plans for beating dwarves:

1. Claw them and/or target their AV8 players(undermine their AV9)
2. Run around them (take advantage of their low MA)
3. Out muscle them (take advantage of their lack of ST4)
4. Target their AG3 players (hard to score with Longbeards!)

without filtering for TV, dwarves winrate is:
44.08% against Nurgle
44.89% against Chaos
45.08% against Chaos Dwarf

after them comes also necro, delf, undead, khemri, lizard, orc
for the rest of the races, dwarf have above 50% winrate

At low TV (900-1200) dwarves do worst against:
khemri, undead, norse, nurgle, orc, necro, chaos dwarf
in that order.

so khemri is worst matchup for rookie dwarf, surprisingly

at mid TV, (1300-1600) dwarves do worst against:
chaos dwarf, lizards, undead, khemri, skaven, necro, orc, chaos

at high TV, (1700-2000) dwarves do worst against:
nurgle, chaos, human, high elf, skaven, dark elf, chaos dwarf, necro, wood elf, undead, elf, pact

interesting that nurgle fail to beat dwarves at mid TV, when they spank them so hard at high TV (38% winrate for the dwarves)
lizards popup at their sweet spot when they;ve got block
