Breaking news from the Die Fauschschlag Nachrichten:
Classics press release;
>>> The Middenheim Classics are delighted to confirm the appointment of their first ever
GM.
Of course ever since the
"incident" with the necromancer in season 2, the Classics have had the benefit of "advice" from our Dwarven friend as assistant GM, but it felt the right time to formalise such arrangements.
Whilst we trust
"the process" put in place by Coach F, it was felt by the Assistant GM that a new firmer direction need be taken.
Coach F is completely in agreement with this course of action, despite rumours to the contrary, no doubt originating in Talabheim or Broekwater. <<<
Here is the DFN's recap of Coach's interview following the press release:
DFN: Coach, how do you feel at this demotion from the GM role?
F: Demotion, nonsense, {picks up and reads from offical Classics letterheaded paper} I am being liberated to concentrate fully on the team and raising the profile of this great franchise.
DFN: Rumour has it coach that you were unhappy at this new appointment?
F: Who said that, whats your source? No doubt it those horrid talabheimers stirring trouble, or unwarrented comments out of Broekwater....
DFN: That black eye?.........
F: Completely coincidental and unrelated.
DFN: but there is a dwarf rune imprinted on the side of your head.
F: not a question, next
DFN: about the smashed furniture outside the stadium?
F: Old, broke through use.
DFN: ok..... What direction do you think the Classics will take in terms of drafting and play style?
F: I am certain our new GM will prepare for the draft exceptionally and bring the stylish passing game that his race are renouned for to Middenheim.
DFN: What does this mean for this season and the next?
F: Well we to be realisitc, as Coach Toriel will know, Remas wasn't built in a day. We have a project and intended to see it through, even if that means short term pain for the team.
We will take pleasure in playing spoiler to anyone who might take us lightly though.
DFN: Thanks coach
