Calling all minecraft and indie game lovers
Hello peeps.

Been a while since my last blog, and i thought that in this one i would keep well clear of anything bloodbowl related.

I love indie games. I love the fact they remind me of gaming back on my Atari 800XL. And I love minecraft, although to be honest i suck at it, i was never good with lego, but i love playing with other peoples' creations.

Recently I came across another little gem that is in production. 'In Profundis' is a randomly generated cave exploration game. It has realistic liquid, sand and gas physics despite it's 2d appearance. Think Dwarf fortress side on. Ever play that falling sand game? This does that and more. Basically you explore a cave for treasure, move the wrong rock though and you could see the entire cave system flooded, or filled with gas.

This game will only be made if it receives enough funding. (think of it like pre-orders). You can pledge $5 to receive the full game, or various levels to receive extra goodies. You will only be charged if the game gets fully funded in time.

Anyway check it out (and some of the other things trying to get funding) and see what you think.

Looks cool, but after wasting money on MineCraft, I'll stick to Dwarf Fortress. No game as awesome like that.

Have you paid?

Yep $10 so that if it goes ahead i can have the beta test stuff too. I support many indie projects, just this looks like the most interesting for a while. I have updated the original blog with the first gameplay footage.
