Considering I don't get the fun little chainsaw icon during the Blitz!, I know what side of the argument Christer lies on. |

Isn't it telling that both versions of the game that are out there interpretted the rules in the same way that Merry stated in the previous page?
I mean in truth... it could be argued either way. Really this needs an official FAQ. Until then its probably best to leave it as is. |

Frankly, I can't see it either way. Or rather, I can't see it a way that allows blocking on a blitz! but not stab/chainsaw.
I can see a literal reading of the rule letting you do none of the three, but no reading that would let you do one but not the otheres. |

Agreed. The other problem the 'no' interpretation potentially runs into is preventing a chainsaw player from using their chainsaw while doing a blitz-action
1) The Blitz! kickoff event lets you do move-actions, 1x TTM-action and 1x blitz-action
2) Blitz-action can contain a block-action
3) Special-actions like chainsaw can replace block-actions, including during a blitz-action
That's how I'd interpret it, and I've seen no solid counter-argument against
If you disagree, please explain which of the steps above are wrong |

I dont disagree. but I dont agree... I'm sitting on the fence.. I can see the arguement for no special actions because it isn't listed and it specifically states just Blitz.... I can see the arguement for allowing it as you describe because of the logic you've used. however if you class Blitz as a block in this instance then by that same logic you shouldnt able to blitz either... Really it's just not very well written. i think we can all agree on that.
Cyanide also interpreted it the former way, which may have been the intent... but also, they might have just not wanted to code it... who knows. I don't know what the intent was?
My feeling is just shouldn't we wait for an FAQ before people spend time coding it? |

It seems you can do chainsaw with blitz during the blitz KO event. I can’t link the video or clip because I tried some private games to get used to UI but never finished one here. It’s twitch Ajaxtheriot’s stream a few months ago, titled "NWBL: The Gunk Gambits vs 101 Gobbo’s”. Around 12:30, Goblin chainsaw blitzes during the blitz KO event. I made a clip there too. |

if yes and if FUMBBL client does not allow this in this case this https://fumbbl.com/note/christer/SkillUsage has been to be amended and submitted a bug here https://fumbbl.com/p/bugs
if FUMBBL client allow chainshaw during KO event we discussed of fried air |
