Quarterfinals. There are three games set right now.
I've never beaten Baz in regulation. Baz has never beaten me in overtime. He's probably a heavy favorite as he's maxmax and riding the meta, but I'm lean and mean while still being close enough for good inducements, so anything can happen.
Necro vs Orcs is always a scary dice game for both sides, and this one should be the same.
Undead vs Vamps is a lot of fun, but again, the Vamps are riding the meta.
Quarterfinalists: 2x pure bash, 3x hybrid bash, 1x agility, 2x smelly cheese. |

So.. no GRATZ to the winner? No discussion on vamp dominance? A major comes to a conclusion and I didn't even hear about it. That seems.. odd? Sad?
Last BBT that ended I don't recall and GRATZ either. Someone even had a perfect score with norse, 15-0-0 and I don't think anyone even posted anything.
Are we dying here? How is the group spirit in the competitive divisions?
I find myself wishing for a news channel that has the latest personal 'wins' some members have had in the more official aspects of FUMBBL. I don't have time myself.. I can barely keep my own league going.. I just.. I dunno. Someone just won the the FUMBBL Cup and the thread wasn't even updated.
I miss Milford. Where art' thou, painstate? |

I mean I can barely be bothered to care when Vampires win another Major. Majors in general are just boring matches of 2000k+ Vampire teams even to spectate at this point. |

I congratulated Spinball when I played him, but Drrek's perspective sums up how I feel too. Vamps are so broken at high tv that it all feels a bit pointless. I tried building a bloated Orc team to compete with Vamps but all that happened was that they were hopelessly inefficient against other races. I probably will keep entering majors but my enthusiasm until vamps are nerfed is very limited (and I've no desire to join and build my own vamp team either). |

We didn't play in the Fumbbl Cup - I went out to the guy you beat in the final, who had a much more efficient Orc team than me. I just meant the age where people congratulate the winner (which I think someone else mentioned in an earlier post) is not dead. |

Oh. I hope my post didn't read like there was no chat at the end of the game with Solaris. I have no idea about that.
I was just trying to comment at the general lack of chat supporting 'major' FUMBBL events as they draw to a close, and wondering why.
I get the issue with vamps at high TV, and think that getting redraft pushed through the last hurdle might invigorate the major events for everyone, as opposed to just the die hard FUMBBLers, but if it's just a core of people in the events now, and we don't celebrate the winner of the BBT or THE Cup at all, we're almost to the point of questioning why we have them. It's work for the admin that perhaps just one player appreciates in the end.
I dig the stars in the winning coach's profile, but I don't think THAT should be the point.

I was talking about my vampire team vs your orc team in the Warpstone playoffs. |
