Hello welcome to the blog,

Circumstance has given plenty of time to sit quietly and paint recently, and the latest from my slapchop production line is Chaos Chosen.

Shoring up the scrimmage line is a huge Troll from Punga miniatures. A fantastic model and a joy to paint; the plus-size gives you a decent chance to get the face right.

The bulk of the team are metal minis by MK1881. I love the poses, mutations and sheer presence of these Himeros Chaos Chosen Beastman.

Star power is brought to the team by MK1881; supplemented by three Norse miniatures from Punga. Ideally these'd be slightly bigger but overall they give off a reasonable Chaos Warrior vibe.


It's my usual style - fairly fast and furious - with just enough detail to sell the minis as realistic (looking at these photos on the big screen now I can see a few beastmen I might just have to revisit for a few final details). I'm hopefully starting to get the hang of colour choice too.
