After a weekend of dodgy dice, whining about dice, then having to listen to an opponent do the same a few games later, and making a fool of myself ranting in channel, here's a few things I'll be telling myself to a) maximise my enjoyment of FUMBBL and b) maximise my opponent's experience, too.

1) Do not whine about dice. There are no dice gods, so they can't hate you.
2) Be gracious - magnanimous in victory, honourable in defeat.
3) Do what you used to do - teach noobs how to play better. You're a good teacher, so use it.
4) Always think of the greater community. FUMBBL needs healthy exchanges of views and knowledge, so contribute!
5) Play faster! (anyone who knows me from ye olde days will remember my funereal pace of play...)

It is part of the human condition to try for perfection and fail. The trying is as important as the failure...
