Legend orc final skill
For the third time this week, a player achieves legend status.

Here I present you the player:

https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=9149489

He rolled normal and I have no idea of what to do with him. Pass block was anice idea. Already did 3 intercepts and pro gives him an extra try when intercepting.

Please, I need sugestions as to what to give him as final skill. I have no idea. I expected a double for dodge, but have no idea for normal. Fend? Strong arm (27 passes already)? Strip ball? Thick skull?

Thanks in advance

Jorge

fend

The way he is built I do not see how you go with anything besides fend as he is the main ball carrier.

Also because he is an evil orc, I cannot in principle vote this a 6, legend and all!

Cool player. Fend is awful, especially as you can just dodge c-pomb in ranked. Tackle could make him better at dodging through screens to hit the ball or Guard for just generic goodness.

Only wimps dodge CPOMB.

Fend seems right. Or tackle if you don't think you'll use fend.

could also try standfirm I guess to run along the sideline?
I had fend on my ag5 but that was in the box. Not a bad choice.
Tackle would make him better in defence too though

I would take tackle. I'm willing to bet he plays in a sort of safety role on defense, and tackle helps take down breakaway blodgers.

Kick Off Return?

Kick?

Tackle. Always useful. And if you're using pass block, your most likely playing vs Elves, Skaven or Humans. Tackle rocks.

I like Strong Arm, and hire another gobbo and try and develop a couple of good recievers. Gives you options other orc teams just don't have.

Team has enough tackle already. If anything, needs a lot more Guard, imo. But not on this player. Fend is meh on an orc. imo

Guard. That guard will ALWAYS be at the right position.

Strip ball maybe?

Kick off return might seem pathetic but it would always help you to start your drives on the front foot.

Tackle, Strip Ball or Guard are all solid choices.

Nice legend!
Too bad... leap on doubles would be really nice.
As it is, I'd be on the fence between tackle and frenzy. Guard and strip ball aren't bad. Fend seems like a waste: even if your team doesn't dodge cpombers, this player can (literally).

No clear consensus.

I understand it for it is not very obvious for me.

I think there already are enough tacklers in the team (4) and guard will be given to BOBs and I like to have him ready to use the Pass block or simply try to grab a loose ball with the sure hands.

May be strip is good for is something you have to consider where the ball is given he is able to go many places.

Fend is a good idea but when blocked almost always by blitzing, which means it is not so many times fend will do the difference.

Or may be, simply roll a dice and see what happens. ;P

how about Pass? he is very well setup for grabbing loose balls...and a successful pass or punt afterwards can often be the difference between win, lose or draw
Posted by Cloggy on 2014-06-21 00:25:48
Pass is a doubles skill

I hate fend - hopefully you shield him and he takes few hits. I hate strong arm more - this is not a passing team so it is far too situational. If you really have to pass he can already do a job. I hate Frenzy too - you want full control over this guy - he's a match winner.

Stand Firm would allow him to hug the sideline if you want him to, so would be a small improvement to his ball carrying abilities, but it is a bit like choosing Fend...

What does make sense for him to be able to make use of his AG5 to be a sacker on defence (I guess you play him deep on defence so he doesn't get killed). So Tackle or Strip Ball look like the best options.

Well, yes, I think I will go for strip ball. I feel I have enough tackle and strip gives something to think to your oppo, specially in a player able to reach "anywhere".

I do not think I will use it a lot, but it is a threat you have to consider even if it is not used at a particular moment.

Thanks for your comments.
