Following the recent settlement in the town of the Rangers, fans in Bilbali has proven to be much more interested in Blood Bowl than what could have been expected before the arrival of the team.

Truth is that after the announcement of the relocation, some of the former stars of the team left the franchise (either by perpetual retirement or some others tempted by offers from Araby). And one could have guessed this would make potential fans unhappy.
But the decission of the new management, Mrs. Ana Auzmendi, to launch a cast of new talent in the city drove fans crazy about the possibility to find a position in the team. In fact, some local talent were finally recruited by the team and they are seen as true patriots defending the honor of the village beyond our borders.

Though 3 players in total were selected among the casters, 2 of them have been specially brutal in their tests. Both of them has been declared blitzers and they are expected to be the backbone of the new team.

Félix Ajona is one of them. Until recently he was a very strong laborer in the farms nearby the city. Used to deal with bulls and cows, he seems to be apt at dodging out of the way when the bulls get angry. Much to the true tradition in the north of Estalia. Hard work over the past years made him strong enough to survive the blood bowl pitch, or so he seems to believe. Still a lot to prove by this kid.

Ramiro Maextu is the second talent. His history is one that cannot make city dwellers to be proud of. He was formerly a pity criminal imprisoned several times for minor crimes. It seems life in prison is hard for these gangsters and fighting for your life is something you can expect. Thus, being able to jump up to keep fighting and avoid your opponents having the chance to hit you while you are down is a must, together with being able to fall on your fallen enemy to keep him down as much as possible. As I said, not to be proud of. Good news is those talents were appreciated at the team cast and he was selected.

This shows us there might be second chances in life, but you must be prepare to tackle the opportunity when it shows.
