Nice round number... I thought I would take my Box amazons out for a spin, let the Legends have some pitch time, perhaps match with some soft elves that the mighty blow girls could bat around for a good, violent time.

Instead we ran head first into a brick wall of Nurgle... two rookie girls got dead, and all our best laid plans were laid to waste after a rotter blitz against one of said Legend blodging ball carriers popped the ball.

Fun facts at 2500 games in, many of them reflecting my approach to the game and my preference for playing stunty teams:

Kills: 910 for (nice round number coming up), 718 against.

Fouls: 14595 for, 4358 against (averaging almost 6 per game)

Players that made it to legend: 9, of which 3 were in the blackbox... 2 trees, 3 ogres, 3 zons, an elf and a sweet, sweet halfling with AG5 in there.

Legends that I've killed: still stuck at 4, but one of them was Thursdaynight Guitarclub of 1297 SPP fame!

Past year has seen me transition from Ranked to a few leagues and lots and lots of blackbox games. It's been a palate cleanser to get away from the picking of Ranked, and despite all those Chorf teams in the box there's been a lot of variety to be had.

The world is moving out of lockdown and into summer, and action on Fumbbl has slowed down (albeit not to pre-pandemic levels yet)... BB 2020 rules are around the corner with redraft rules changing the ball game for our perpetual league teams.
