Retiring almost all my teams
I have decided to retire or move almost all of my ranked team.

The reason for this is not that I am tired of them but because they lack fluff. From now on the teams I start will have a story and a background (and after a while pics and logos also I hope). The way I see it now those stories will mostly be loosely based on the warhammer world.

So no more Wights called Hans Scheike and Black Orcs called Galne Gunnar.

Even thou it hurts a bit to retire the orcs and undead who got some tournaments won I think I will enjoy the game more in the long run this way. I think one reason I enjoy playing with Altdorf Juvenile Delinquents most is that the team (and often the players) have some stories and history. And making up some background after 150 games or so would not work.

The only teams that I will keep in ranked are the ogres and Altdorf Juvenile Delinquents.

So, if you think its a good decision vote high and if you dont vote low.

I think it is a good move and also a brave one. I did this a while back where I bit the bullet and ditched all my half-arsed teams and committed to doing teams with more focus on fluff. It will make your games even more interesting and hopefully fun!

you might regret it, thinking, ooh i wanna play with my UD/orcs again. but on another note, less UD and orc teams make me happy.

If you ask me, it's better to just stop using the old teams and make some new ones, unless you're really pushing your 40-team limit. As flyor said before, you might regret it later on.

If you just don't use them, you can always go back to them once in a while if you feel like it. Unless you've got 40 teams, not using a team is the same as retiring it, except it's not as permanent.
