My third match was completed this morning. I have yet to win a game but I do not have that as to big of a priority yet. As long as I am having fun and am learning. And learn I do. Every game.

For example.
Kryten was very kind to treat me to a game in academy, and that was extremly educational. He sure plays on a whole different level than I do. A friendly person, who spent his own time on teaching me afew tricks during the game. Including a one turn touchdown to finish the game off. Very sweet move. Hats off for that one.
He even complimented me for my fluffy matchreport from the first game with Texas Roadkill had. And he made his own report of ours.
That and beeing a gentleman earned him the first place on my white list. I will hopefully play him again. But much, much later, so I can offer some better resistance.

This community has been alot more helpful and friendly then I expected. That should teach me to judge people by their actions and not by what I think they will do.

So thank all of you who have made me feel welcome, taugh me some tricks of the trade and answered my beginner questions.
/Sara

As another newbie I have to agree with you Sara. I've played against some very helpful people so far and I've tried my best to pass on the information I've gained from them to others.

Oh and wins do come eventually. I have 3 under my belt so far.

Hi there,

I learned Blood Bowl fairly recently as well. The standard of play on fumbbl is very high and I was intimidated at first. It's a fine idea to get a few games under your belt in Academy before venturing out into deeper waters. Your statement about not making assumptions about people is well taken... words to live by. :)
