This time we rise to the far away Albion to play against the Fiery Lugh Warriors (we think that the coach was a Tilean, or just his doppelgänger in the real world is Tilean or what they are calling them there for). The trip was especially difficult and the travel limitations because of the Nurglorona sickness made it a nightmare. The team came to the field in really very bad shape. The mighty blocking game that the Minotaurs produced against the Armor 9 Sea elves was not present in this game against the low armor 6 to 8 Albionians.

First half time started very badly, we kicked and the first round leave us with 3 fewer players in the field. Some magic allowed our opponent to make elf things with the agility 1 St 4 guys and ... that is the game, nothing to comment for. Coach Kharigor disgusted gave the command to his Minotaurs to just be themselves and start blocking around and the brays just fouling whoever survived. At the end of the second half this tactic produced some injuries and 2 SPPs ( :( ).

About the game in honest: our opponent was very good and the tactical power of our team very limited. After the first schock of the 3 KOs in the first round, a bad turn for the Fiery Lugh gave us the chance to contest the ball. Here happened the first elf magic of the Agility 1 Berserker. Outpositioned we blocked and fouled, 1-0 for the Fiery Lugh. Footnote: we did not try to have an illegal substitution, this is fake news, we are a honourable team and not doing Dirty Tricks. At the end of the 1st half we might had the chance for a fast equalizer but we failed miserably.

Second Half we took the ball, managed to keep it for some time and try to penetrate the defense, but it failed again. Pixies with their unbreakable armor 6 were unstoppable to move the ball around, some even more elf magic from a berserker. And.. outpositioned we blocked (not enough players to foul), 2-0 for the Fiery Lugh. Despite all the blocking, the numbers showed that the Albionians hit us a bit harder 43 to our 39 blocks. None of our players excelled today. Pherekydes (#4) made a new career and franchise record with 10 attempted blocks in a game, but nothing came from it. Not major mistakes from our opponents, they played well and neutralised us in all the sectors of the game. They lost a Fen Guard for the next game, a handicap for their next game and the only thing to lament for. Despite all that the hospitality of the Albionians was good.

At least the team is back at their home base and everyone is healthy and fit. Minos our Safety Bull is also a bit faster (MV 6 now), maybe that will help us a bit. The team will try to regroup, and the new realistic target is to avoid the last place in our difficult division and try to build the team. Maybe in 2 games with a bit of luck we will manage to have our 5th Mino.
