The team again is on the road, this time not so far away in Araby against Gharb al-Andalus. The game proved to be one of the most exciting experiences for the Minoan Bulls so far. We had our first win in a official game with a very good blocking game not only from the Minos, but also from the small Brays! But maybe the most exciting thing it was the first contact of a Minotaur with the ball! #2 Rathamanthes made the play of his life. On the last seconds of the game he first blitzed and injured an opponent, positioned himself in the Touchdown zone and received the long pass from the #8 River Gom. The crown could not believe it, even the coach Kharigor remained frozen and speachless!

About the game: The first half Minoan Bulls received the ball and managed to proceed very slowly on the opponent area. Spectacular was how also the Brays managed also to remove two opponents from the field, helping the Minotaurs in the blocking game. We lost also some Brays in the brutal first half, as well as two Minotaurs because of Fouls. But #12 Jane Dorser managed to reach the End zone and with a nice screening stalled until the last round.

Second half: The Araby team was missing important vital players, but they did not give up. #1 Minos went KO and we lost even more Brays and the result was that the opponents were more than our players. So they scored quickly and tried to go for the win. In the dramatic last turns, the Brays were trying to keep desperately the ball against a tremendous pressure. Three times the ball got lost on the field, but a different Bray managed always to pick it up during the next turn. There was not any option left and Minoan Bulls tried to execute a desperate passing play and 2-1 Win!

#2 Rathamanthes had a very quiet game with only 8 Blocks until the last turn when he managed simultaneously a CAS and a TD! He is probably the Hero of the Game because of this Phase, but we should not forget the extraordinary perfomance of the two Brays ball-carriers: #8 River Gom (14 Yards Rush and 6 Yards Pass, 1 Cmp and 1 Cas ) and #12 Jane Dorser, 19 Yards and 1 TD. Both made new Franchise Records and they learned how to SideStep. #4 Pherekydes broke also his own record by achieving 11 Blocks in a Game. Both Minotaurs learned how to Break the Opponents Tackle with their Strength.

A perfect way to close the year 2520. Many thanks to our glorious opponent, who played very well and hard.
