Ranked teams can only play within those +/- TV ranges. The width increases from a 'newborn' team up until the teams played 30 games. Once it's hit thirty, the +/- goes and they are legally allowed to play anyone. This has replaced the +/-40TS rule we used to have. Hope that helps.

It is your team TV limit, it tells you how much up or down you can play. The more games you have, the bigger the limit will be.

Then only games after a certain point are counting? Or my older teams have no limit?

older teams have no limit. A brand new team must play teams within 10% of it's TV, and the gap widens based on number of games played, until you have played 30 games when you can play against any TV with that team.

You divide the number of teams with a positive win ratio by the number of teams with a negative win ratio, take that number, divide by 9, take the remainder and either play the lottery with the numbers or write them on a shirt in permanent marker and walk into a casino bellowing and pointing at your belly... "I GOT THE WINNING NUMBERS BABY!! I GOTS 'EM RIGHT HERE!!"
