Anti stalling
All this anti stalling talk has got me spit balling. Whatdoyouthink about:

- When you score you receive. This will encourage people to score quickly.
- The kicking team goes first. Necessary to ensure the correct sequence of the turns.

This change should also prevent OTTDs.

You might need to enforce that the kick must be deep (e.g. within two squares of LOS = touch back) to ensure that the receiving side actually get the ball, and it isn't grabbed by the kicking team too easily.

Yeah? No? Half-baked and full of holes, or am I onto something?

Better Idea Imo is both teams kick off, so there are 2 balls on the field, the team which goes first (by coinflip) gets a scattered ball and the team moving seccond gets a ball scattered 2x, meaning it is quite likely to be a touchback, nothing else changes beyond both balls can be used to score by either team and they are in play simultaneously.

(I do like your Idea a lot more than mine but I don't think either will be implemented)

That's pretty ingenious. Would you stop after one ball scores or keep going? Can one player hold two balls? And do they get bonus TDs for the double score?

we once played a 2v2 match with a 1,5x wide pitch and two balls. That was hella funny!

Receiving first would be a big advantage.

Interesting idea, for sure...
But does a dorfs team coach thinck the same?...
A such change would be a huge advantage for fastest players team like skavs I suppose, no?
