Cherry Picking Part two:
When you cherry pick, you miss out on a lot of fun. I was challenged by a guy with a team with "Fouling" in the title. His TR was not high enough to give me a handicap, his STR was a little higher and he's played about 1000 games on FUMBBL with about a 60% winning record. Of course I accepted and I lost two players, BUT it was a great game and lots of fun!I missed a pass on my 7th turn and he took it the other way with some good rolls, but he forced me to try and score with enough time for him to counter and that was the move to make on his part. We had been in turn two of the second half when FUMBBL crashed the other night. I pm'd my opponent to ask when he'd be available to start back up and he seemed suprised. I guess he thought I'd be happy the game crashed since I had two dead dwarves. Hell no! I wanted to finish our game and find the winner.

MY team is fine and he knows he was in a scrap and that he got a little lucky! If you wimp out and don't accept the tough matches, you may have an inflated win-loss record and ego, but you are not really playing Blood Bowl.
