And with what seems like only two dirty players. Wow, that's kinda crazy. Saying that 99 out of 100 times, this game would've had all the permanent damage on the hobgoblin side, I'm pretty impressed by the hobgoblins.

As for booting a guy IRL because he abused your team, I don't know what to say.

On a more serious note. What is written in that report is just wrong, wrong, wrong. In so many ways.

Just watched the replay. Hobgob fans got the ref on turn 1 so they had 8 turns of DP fouls, but only managed two cas the whole half (a lot of stuns). Not a bad result for the dorfs, who fouled back every chance they had and were lucky not to get someone sent off.
2nd half it was 8 dwarves vs 10 hobgobs, not exactly an unfair fight, yet the dwarves at first just tried to run away. When it was clear the hobgobs were going to keep hitting them they started fighting back (too late) and importantly kept fouling the hobgobs instead of leaving the eye on the hobgob DP!! Still, by the time the hobgobs score at the end of the half the dwarves OUTNUMBER the hobgobs 5 to 4!!!

Epic dwarf FAIL.

If he wasn't familiar with the DMU concept beforehand, I could almost feel a little sorry for his rude introduction to them. But since his thread title includes the word "again", I'm guessing this wasn't exactly a sneak-attack.

I appreciate the hell out of the DMU guys. It's tough finding games for a dwarf team, and those guys want to play you. So what if they are out to kill your team...dwarfs are built to not be killed (hence the challenge of the league).

If you don't like getting mutilated:
A) don't get into a foul war without DPs (normally just let the eye handle it, and ride out the storm when it's GTR)
B) don't strand guys off near 3-4 guys (including a DP)
C) whenever convenient, knock down their DPs (maybe get a cas, maybe keep them from reaching a downed guy)

and if that doesn't do it for you...
D) don't mess with the DMU :)

Much as i love the credit DMU has gotten here i have to point out that he isn't actualy in DMU :D

Very nice work anyway... gave me a good giggle. If it wasn't for the fact that DMU season 2 ends tonight i'd issue an invite to the group.

The quote from my profile is out of context. I only play that way in a Tournament or League. And I only foul or crowd push tactically. I don't kill for sport.

I fouled back to protect my team. In the 1st half his fouling could not be stopped. In the 2nd I was fouling with my best players to try getting them tossed.

And what threats in the match report? I don't see any threats their. You must be hallucinating.
