When To Ready Your Team for Tournie Game?
Is there a rule on when you should ready your team for a tournament game?

Obviously everyone normally waits to see if the opponent sets their team to ready first, but is there an actual rule about this?

Normally I can't be bothered with such things and just set my team to ready and ignore the opposition however it can have a big impact.

Any help would be good.

The general rule is: After you know your opponent, the team with highest TV ready first.

Thanks guys. I shall now be enforcing this!! Can we replay some games where I could have had a wizard if the rule was enforced!!!!

you cannot replay a game like that. at least, if it was ME, I would replay for sure.
A lot of wannabe pros, tho, flee like the coward worthless gits they are - leave them be. The best coaches on fumbbl are those that understand you at your gaming's worst, not those praising your wins.

Looking back now I can see the amused faced of the oppo caoch as the naive Scarlak sets his team to ready only for the oppo coach to retire a player and reduce the handicap to 140K. No More!!!!!

reading the rules is obviously OP

Original CRP is not clear on this but I've always believed the spirit of the rules is to complete all skill advancements, firings, and hirings in the Post-Match Sequence (ie. as soon as possible after each game without looking at your opponent's team), and that the "highest TV readies first" process is solely for petty cash and inducement selection immediately preceding the match (but after Weather).

However this is impractical for competitive online play, thus Fumbbl's adoption of what amounts to a House Rule for readying. Some leagues (3DB Highlander League, my TT league, many others) play by the "blind post-match" interpretation of the rules and it works well for the most part.

So, naive maybe, but ultimately coherent with the spirit of the rules imo.

This seems familiar... minus Lizvis.

I think the problem with blind readying is that it isn't really blind.
In terms of a KO or numerous other tournament types it means the coach who plays last gets to see everyone elses picks.
Thus encourages to delay games.
A dynamic that delays playing games I believe is not healthy for a league environment.
