The ELF season ended and I didn't reach 300 points. I reached 299. Chances are I won't have much chance of reach 300 next season either but ELFing is not really about that. Or. Well it IS. But.

What it's really about is the cycle. I managed the cycle (though it wasn't easy. The hardest opponent to find was the bloody elves. They never appear on gamefinder and when they do it's always Dark Elves. Much good does one elf race do)

I've noticed with my Qvickfåte Ballbassers that now that I count every completion I do. I do a lot more completions. Rarely do I get below 3 completions/game where I before probably did that a bit. I guess it's a dangerous obsession but other teams count their Casualities or fouls. I do my completions. I'm fairly certain not many teams obsess about that. Probably because the only teams that can do it are elves and...

Let's be honest here. Most elves around are either cherry-picking winner guys. Or anti-cherry-picking killing (and winning) guys. One cares only about the skill roll and the TD/TS. The other cares only about humiliating "strong" teams with boot and agility.

Elves just don't do novelty and theme too well I suppose. When your lineman is one of the best in Blood Bowl it's hard to make a "quirky" team.

While I'm at it I'd just like to be all proud and stuff about this game. First round of SMACK. I was up, thought I had it in the bag. Then proceeded to lose a lot in the second half and started to cry blood in overtime.
I won on the coin toss and I do feel a bit of pride for holding out as long as I did. It probably wasn't all skill.

I was soundly trashed in the following game. Or well it was close but there was never any doubt I wouldn't win 8^)
Looking at the luck percentage I think I recall a late disconnection so there's probably no replay in there.
