After some disastrous luck (probably attributed to the coffee, that the Violence Head coach provided), Gorgeous George of the Violence turned the ball over and ran in an early TD.
The Hoppers rallied and pushed forward from the next kick, as they seemed certain to score, their valiant catcher decided to stop on the line and taunt the crowd, and was promptly sacked by Bricktop, The ball was recovered and handed to Franki "Four Fingers" who rushed forward who demonstrated why she is a runner and not a thrower throwing an inaccurate pass for what would have been a certain TD.
Meanwhile Hopit, the Hoppers journeyman for the game injured JaJa, who had joined the Violence for the match.
1-0 at the Half with the Violence receiving at the start of the second.
Franki was in the backfield and recovered the kick, and went forward, realising rushing was her best option, at which point headcoach Zy looked to the sidelines to observe a wizard, *whoops*, a somewhat charred elf smell then hit his nostrils as Franki was hit by a bolt of lightning.
The Hoppers capitalised and threw up some awesome display of ball recovering and passing to run in the equaliser 1-1
Hopit then injured another player…This frog was making a strong case to be signed by the Hoppers post match.
The Elves lined up again, and yes the insuing blunder involved yet again Franki"Four Fingers" , as the lose protection vanished and Baron Greenback steamed in on her she was ordered by the coach not to Dump the ball!!!!! WTF! A bemused Franki looked to her coach from her newly adopted position, prone in the mud, as once again the Hoppers catchers did what they do best, RECOVER!,
A small scuffle broke out as both teams then competed for the ball, that Hopit frog was in there aswell (probably a former star in disguise..)Ultimately the Hoppers the hoppers got the ball over the line to make the score 1-2.
With the match drawing to a close the Violence fans began to murmer bad things about Zy, he new his neck could be on the line, He gathered the remaining elves round, looked at Franki and said , just get the ball to "Bullet Tooth".
Feeling no pressure at all………………..Franki caught the kick, the Violence blitzer contigent punched a hole , and after receiving the pass "Bullet Tooth" ran into the gap, supported by the rest of the team,
Those leaping frogs managed to get some TZs on the ball carrier, but undaunted "Bullet Tooth" Toni dodged away from Baron GreenBack and a diving Mr Toad, and using her last effort managed to go for it over the line for 2-2.
The game ended tied despite the Hoppers best efforts to score just before the ref blew his whistle.
