Graveyard Gripe Squad (Undead) vs. Spartan Vikings (Norse)

This match up should be a win for the Graveyard Gripe Squad in regular time. The Graveyard Gripe Squad have gone undefeated in the pre-season with 7 TDs for and only 1 against over 4 games. The Spartan Vikings performance however has been strong recently, they've managed to win back to back matches against the highly rated Six (Vampire) and Masters of Ballcraft (High Elf), so an upset is not completely out of the picture.

Something Catchy (Skaven) vs. Shoobynoobies (Amazon)

The Shoobynoobies are a strong team, betting against them would be unwise. Something Catchy is still an unknown however. They managed a 2-1 victory against a poor performing Citizen Dwarf, and still have a few more friendlies to play. I predict a win for the Amazons, but it's too soon to judge the Skaven's prospects.

Six (Vampire) vs. Citizen Dwarf (Chaos Dwarf)

Citizen Dwarf have been performing poorly, losing their first two games convincingly, only barely able to eke out a touchdown against Something Catchy (Skaven). I highly doubt an upset, Six is a strong team. That being said, with Six fielding six vampires and only one re-roll, luck could become a third player in this game.

Thugg Lyfe (Orc) vs. Masters of Ballcraft (High Elf)

Up until last nights match I considered Thugg Lyfe a favorite for this match. These two teams faced each other in a friendly before the draw and Masters of Ballcraft surprisingly came out on top. The Masters played a solid disciplined game against the caging Thugg Lyfe, managing to cling on to a 1-0 victory. The game could have gone the other way, and thus the rematch in the first round will probably be a tight one.
