FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

As most of you know, the site needs you to pay up. Lord Borak (server) needs replacement. Christer has already offered some nice incentives, including that cool little logo between the not-yet-caged snotling and the carved hamball at the top of this page.
I'd like to encourage you some more by offering you your choice of these 4 additional donation rewards. If, together, you guys max out all the options, you will spend a total of $185, and I'll be working/playing my ass off for the foreseeable future:

*Sage advice: a teaching game or a replay analysis. ($9, max 2 per coach, 3 out of 5 remaining)
Intended for newer coaches but welcoming anyone, if you choose this option I will play you for 1 game with any set of races of your choice. If needed, I will make a rookie [L] team for this purpose (meaning I retain the right not to play my existing flings vs your dorfs, for instance). During the game, I will advise you as best I can about both race-specific and general issues; both relating to in-game and team management decisions, and coaching in general. This option is available in Euro evenings only (starting a game between 20.00 and 23.00 bbtime).
Alternatively (especially for people with timezone differences), you can submit a link to a replay that you would like to see analyzed, and I will offer my feedback play-by-play, as well as teambuilding feedback relating to the two teams involved.

*The challenge: beat me and I donate. Beat me hard and I donate more. ($ variable, max $10 entry per coach, max $50 total in the donation drive)
You play either any team of your choice vs my 'nonpickers', or any other matchup that we both agree to. For every positive TD difference you obtain in the challenge game, I will donate an amount matching your entry in the challenge. You challenge me for $10 and win 5-1? You donate $10, and I donate $40. We tie, or I win? You donate $10, I donate nothing. This option is available in Euro evenings only (starting a game between 20.00 and 23.00 bbtime).

*Team logo: I'll design your team logo for you. ($9, max 2 per coach, 4 out of 5 remaining)
I'm no expert, but I'm ok with photoshop and will gladly put something together for you. For some examples of logos I made, see here, here, here, and here.

*Get boxing, you filthy picker! Make me play goblins in the box ($9, max 2 per coach, max 5 in total in the donation drive)
For every time this option gets selected, I will play one game with goblins in the box. Once the donation drive ends, I will neither actively look for ranked games nor activate other races than goblins until I've played all the games pledged through the donation drive.

Please donate the appropriate amount corresponding to your selected option(s) and send me a PM indicating which options you have selected, what the total amount is that you donated, and the Paypal transaction ID of your donation. P.S.
For those who are wondering about the options I chose: I'm unretiring this team. "But it sucks?!", I hear you say? Well, for one thing: it's my FIRST EVER Ranked team. And second: I'm also unretiring this lady. She really earned the right to gain those 10 SPPs to reach legend, and then get potioned.

Let me give you a little bit of feedback about Sage advice. I'd suggest you to keep the in-game advice out of it, because it's a clear conflict of interests. You cannot play your team and at the same time give advice on how to beat it.

Meh, I don't mind. I like teaching anyway, and this is for a good cause. If there's something I think they should have done differently, I can tell them afterwards. In-game replay mode is great for that, too.

Nonsense arry, the_Sage's intentions are clear and good. He's perfectly capable of giving advice during a "friendly" game in [L]. He's given me advice in games too (mostly afterwards but that was because then it did matter) and I would say that such a session will be very useful for any coach who doesn't consider himself a top level coach.

Thanks Badoek! To be honest I wouldn't mind giving advice during a [R] game either; I usually do anyway when I realize an opponent is newish. (after asking whether they would like some advice).

Yes, I'm happy with telling the alternate plans after the action. Not before, though. And just to be clear, all other kinds of advice - replay analisys, general strategy/race/coaching tips - are great and a good idea.

Ofcourse one can give in game advice without conflicts of interest. It is clearly not gonna be in a tourney final or another game with stakes at its highest. Also bear in mind that he is both experienced and a good player.
I do it all the time too - or more correctly did, when I did play often enough. But where exactly do i offer those money to the pledge? Can´t find anything about where to donate..
