For what its worth, its because when you play on table top you laugh it off with your opponent. Its a funny moment that you get to share with someone. With the digital interface, it depersonalizes the moment and makes it feel more like the RNG is screwing you instead of it being a shared funny moment. Its a psychology of online play sort of thing.

Also looking at your opponent list... There's a lot of really highly ranked players on there, players I know and are really really good. You might want to look into joining the 145. Its really good for people learning together instead of getting obliterated by top 50 people in the world over and over.

In 1 out of your last 5 games did you have more skulls / single 1s than your opponent.

And that was the game you won. Heh.

Ok, loaded up your zons vs goblins, a game you should be in favour to win.

Turn 1:
Quick snap gives you 4 free blocks on goblins, but you decline two of them.
You should really use that QS to open up and blitz the chainsaw - it is dangerous for amazons.
You choose a blitz that forces a rush for no visible reason.

This are still in the minor mistakes. Then you make a major mistake that you should never ever do, and feels very ood after 1000 games. To start: do not block the trolls on -2d, but then, absolutely never reroll the failed -2D block with a loner lineman.

This was just turn 1.

Turn 2 is less bad, but: do not follow up the chainsaw when you push it.
And I would not do a 4+ pass, very real chance that you give the goblins the ball.

Turn 3 is a quick score - great to hurt that secret weapon.

Turn 4 you once again use a reroll on a loner making a -2D block on a troll.

Turn 6 is just impossible to understand. The goblins fail a dodge giving you a clear path to blitz the ball. Instead you take a blockless 2d, getting a push (this block is irrelevant) and then reroll the block into a fail.

It is just.... it looks like you are trying to lose here.

Goblins have some good damage dice, but fail several critical dodges...
Posted by spelledaren on 2025-07-29 22:45:28
Turn 6 2nd half you give yourself 2 dodges that were not needed at all.
And you try a 6+ pass that would still put the ball in easy blitz for goblins.

I hope this helps a little bit? At least stop rerolling loner blocks, or even better, dont make those blocks at all in the first place.

reading and taking advice helps too. roll less fail less?

If not asked, the most most people will not tell ur mistake during the game, cause this can be mistunderstood or not be wanted.

If u really want a feedback, ask ur opponent before, during or after the game and the most will tell u so and u can learn specifically from every mistake and perhaps u won't do it again.

You have 57 wins. Please show us a link to your best game, where you got good dice and you played well, and you felt good about the match after.

If you show us one of your good games, then we can look at that and maybe all get on the same page about what a 'good' game is. I'd be happy to look at one of your good games, rather than pick out 15+ things wrong in a game where you are getting bad dice.

Generally, both coaches are going to get bad dice in a game. The trick is letting the other coach get the bad dice first, and hopefully being able to do something about it when it happens.

Totally agree with some of the comments. In tabletop I remember a match with eight rolls in a row. I was playing Ogres. result?, "1" in every roll. Result?. Miserable match but people, including myself laughing but without seeing your opponent is quite different.

I try to share everything with the the chat in order to make the matches more human. Even, this is a game and I think people should speak a little more in the chat. This is not just about winning - at least for me. This about sharing a good time and a passion for a game we all love
