I wrote a book
Long time no see fumbblers. Two kids and writing takes all my time nowadays, but since I have spent so many hours here I would like to fill you in on how Blood Bowl have affected my life.

Like some many others of my generation, I was concerned about the lack of Flesh Golems in contemporary literature.

However, I wrote a book about a restaurant where the management and the cooks was in serious conflict (I have worked several years as a cook). A Flesh Golem was built and a murder took place.

The novel have now been published and is available. Only in swedish, but anyway.

Congratulations :D

Also, mad props for working in a Flesh Golem, what skill did he take after the first three casualties he caused?

In a kitchen environment completions and an interception surely happened before the other casualties?

Eiy!
Malmö, Lundberg, Arbetaren och en golem.
Det är ju en fyrklöver!

Grattis från en fellow Malmöit, vem vet om inte det blir sommarläsning på den?! ;-D

On a stainless steel workbench in a restaurant in eastern Malmö was a golem: a silent, strong and soulless creature created by human hands, built of flesh. Meat Monster waited. One of the restaurant's employees were killed. Tempi Moderni make a profit, but it's not enough. The management wants more. The tempo is raised and not a penny spent unnecessarily. With the knife against the throat becomes staff resistance harder and harder. In the end, there is no way back. For flesh and blood is an innovative blend of romance and detective work.

Henrik Johansson was born in Dalsland 1973 and has lived in Malmö since 1994. Writing is a belated interest but storytelling has always been there and honed among neighbors and fellow workers in rural and urban. He has worked at the bakery and ten years as a chef. Henry writes regular columns for Worker and has published poems and short stories including The People in the Picture. For flesh and blood is his first novel.

With an afterword by Kristian Lundberg, author of, inter alia, Yarden and A hometown.

[i]"A living snorting absurd story that winds up and lets us see a contemporary Sweden that we really do not want to admit but we all still become a part of., It is impressive."

- Kristian Lundberg, from after the word

---------------------------

I may just google the Whole novel! I wanna read more about Meat Monster and his adventure in spp gains.

very nice and thanks google translate!

"Av kött och blod"

This is my new favourite phrase.

Thanks you lot! You make me miss blood bowl and fumbbl even more!

Anyway: Here is a amateurish translation of a short story I wrote that takes place on the field. It's about a human lino rookie and his first game:

Pigskin and Chaos Warriors

Det här är så coolt att det gör ont! :-D

...och dra dig inte för att titta in någon gång när ungarna är ute för en match eller så. SL behöver fler som skriver hela meningar, med punkter och hela konkarongen. ;-)

Congratulations! Welcome to the ranks of published authors. :D

Any plans for an english translation? I can't read a bit of Swedish.

Thanks maysrill
I will try to get an agent and hopefully that will lead to an english translation sooner or later.
