“Wow, a game with no cas for/against. A pleasant surprise, and one which the fans seemed to appreciate. Our game was greatly aided by the low agility of the cd team, making ball control difficult for him. Meanwhile, Menion, my veteran blitzer, was having a hey-day of knocking down the ball carrier and immediately plucking the ball out of the air, before it even had a chance to bounce around. Thus the cd's almost always were having to try to knock our ball carrier down, and other than one instance they were unsuccessful. Couldn't believe some of the dodging being pulled off by both teams, though...

The best two pieces of news from this game: our fans have seen we can score in addition to our normal power-hitting game, and Ellcrys III managed to reach star status (and thus be immortalized in team annals) without aging, getting a double-skill to boot, and my thrower got +AG. Now we're talking... Pity we didn't quite get enough to purchase our fourth blitzer again, but we'll gamble and wait on getting him for another game.
