Thraka the Dirty Thrower has been a mainstay for Coach MadTias' Orc team da Glitz Gitz for a long time. He made his first SPP in January 2005. Today (2006-08-26) he played his 100th match and has decided to retire, to allow new talent to come forward and lead the team to future glory. Thraka explains: "My TR value (25) is too high to support my usefulness and if I stay on the team, the team will continue to face tougher opponents than we can handle. For the good of the team, I must retire."
Coach MadTias appreciates Thraka's sacrifice and hope he will find time to kill helpless victims outside the pitch in his retirement. Thraka took the Dirty Player skill because da Gitz wanted to have a DP available on offense (and Orcs have 11 positionals available for offense, so no lino DP). This has worked well and is a practice that da Gitz will probably keep up.
The highpoint of Thraka's career was the Warpstone Open 2006, where he took da Gitz to the semi-final (with a lot of fouling done on the way). After the Warpstone, Thraka's TR value has continued to increase with little skill value and da Gitz have had a terrible run, with a record of 15/8/15 in the games since. We expect a brighter future.
