Castle Morgenstern is an old building that stands high upon a steep hill. It was once shining white, but now dust and ivy colours the ageing walls. To the south there is a deep fall into a small creek - this is also where you can enter the dark caves of the hill, where, legend has it, an ogre dwells.

The castle has been the property of the Morgensterns for five generations, soon to be six, since the old count has one foot in the grave. His coughs now echoes through the stairs and corridors of the old castle.

The count's eldest son, Marten Morgenstern, now runs the place, riding out into the dark mountains of the east to wield off the forces of darkness, and west to harvest foodstuff from the farmers, and maidens to his and his soldiers delight.

It was Marten Morgenstern who drafted most of the men of the castle to his very own Blood Bowl team. The draft was merciless, however, enrolling even the fat monk, Ambrosius, and the fool, Jasper. Much to Marten's delight, he was even able to bribe the ogre that lives in the hill beneath the castle, to sign up.
