Starting roster: 4 Bloaters, 3 Pestigors, 4 Rotters, 2 rerolls, 970 TV. Final result: 4-2-9 Slightly worse than the original Gastro Pub (3-4-8 in their first 15 games) - instinctively I'd blame that on Competitive being intrinsically pickier than Box was, but picking is a two-way street. (The original Gastro Pub won much earlier - this run was a struggle with 6 consecutive losses to start - something to really try your patience.) My fear that Nurgle were ruined by BB2020 changes was unfounded. We escaped serious injury throughout the season (losing a single Bloater to -AV, and no great loss as an experiment in random skills). Team is well-set-up for the second season, assuming they can get through their 16th game without serious damage, if Cheese Platter heals his niggle in the off season, and so on. What I've not enjoyed is the change to inducements, with teams outspending me (and it feels worse if they're starting with a higher TV) as the prayers to Nuffle don't fully compensate for a team rostering star players. Something to adjust to - do you just start taking a wizard whenever you can afford it? Season 2 Unwiser Quesadilla is sacked (although he never did anything in 3 matches, so ... oh well) Other Bloaters remain on the roster. So that's 60k agency + 515k = 575k Pestigors all stay: 440k + 80k = 520k Rotters: 90k for two block rotters, + 40k agency Sack Tony Wonder and bring in Liri Othran 35k 1150k Budget is 1350, less 40k for fans = 1310 Drop a reroll - 1150 + 140 = 1290 Leaves us with 20k in treasury (miscalculation, because this is only 10 players - so let's lose the last 20k, take a journeyman, and pretend this was just as planned...)
