Well best of luck to both of you. Hardly a 'World Cup' though. Can't imagine the football world cup letting both teams through because no-one else wants to play.

That way Sweden could have qualified for the real WC this summer. But instead there will only be 32 shitty football teams in south africa.

I won the Blood Bowl with TR100 orcs with a 6/0/0 record.
My roster was:
troll, 3 Bobs, 4 blitzers, thrower, 2 linoes, gobbo, 2 RRs
Skills: leader (thr), MB (blitzer), guard (blitzer), then your pick from tackle/guard for the last 2 blitzers, depending on teams.
12 players is crucial - you don't want to be down.
I also managed a 5/1/0 with dark elves last year:
3 blitzers, 2 witches, runner, 5 linoes, 1 RR.
Skills: leader, block, wrestle, dodge, dodge.
Might be worth a shot!
Rats can get broken and dwarves are too slow and delicate to bad dice for me.

Orcs or rats are the way t go imo. I'd favour rats slightly, simply because there aren't any permanent injuries, and nothing can stop a grutterrunner. ...Can't they get VLL on normals on LRB5? That's 2 Normal rolls for a 1-turner.

Congratz to qualifying. I think i would go with the dwarfs. If I went with the orcs I would like to have 3 rr and no troll.

What I like most with the Rats is the oneturn opertunity. I could also go 2 less Linos and 1 less RR for a RO instead. But then it is down to 11 players. Which is a no go for rats...

Since its a team reset, I'd go Rats for the GR's
