The Impossible, Pointless Dream?
In the middle of creating a team built for annoyance using Nurgle it occurred to me that it isn't something I ever really see Chaos try. The aim would be a team designed purely to make opposition coaches throw up their hands in disgust as things simply get fouled up for them in every conceivable way. In my mind, Nurgle seem built perfectly for this, especially given their starting with Foul Appearance and Disturbing Prescence.

I was asking myself amd want to ask others the following;

Would this be something worth trying? Would people want to see this in a Chaos team?

The only real problems I can see are the lack of regen could be problematic given that a team like this would love marking up opposition players. , the Beast is FAR better suited to this than a Mino. Anyway, I just want to know if people support this idea...

SKILL ORDER

Warriors: Tents -> Block -> Guard -> SF -> MB -> Claw

All Beasts to take Diving Tackle on a double skill roll (Dodge?). First Beastman to take a stat to be the ball carrier.
General Beasts: Block -> Guard -> Fend -> Tents?

A couple of things... Would Wrestle/Tackle be more annoying? Does Tents and Diving Tackle have synergy? Would be perfectly happy to have one or the other. For example: Block/Guard/Fend/Tents? Or perhaps Stand Firm...

Suffice to , make your suggestions! I am not fussed if it isn't efficient. There is a clear goal in mind here.

Finally, would need a kick beast and a couple of DPs. Now, in the Nurgle plan there are two killers, so that would be wanted here. But I am running out of roster spots :D

Enough ramblings from me. Please post up your super annoying build here! And got a use for the Mino? Good for you as I don't have a damned clue! :)

May the dice be always in your favour!

Oh on Chaos... no.

I would not mind seeing a Khorne , maybe a frenzied up, blood lust , loner team and a Slaneesh team , hypnotic gaze, leaping, rushing team. Father Nurgle has two teams which seems a little unfair.

This would have to be another Ranked newb-picking team.

I don't think it would win much in the box.

Also, consider beasts taking FA, Block, Tents, Guard, Fend.

This is a team that has a somewhat similar objective, I think:

Nurgle are just better suited for this because they already start with so many of the annoyance skills.

Sure. Does swwm that way Cavetroll.

And Bill, I really just see it as a fun experiment. Nothing more really. And nothing more as I already have a more standardised Chaos in the works ;)

Is Shadowing worthy of consideration on Beastmen as an annoyance? especially if you were thinking of DT on them as well... (and maybe not all of them!)

and wouldnt Side Step be more annoying than Dodge too...
Posted by DrPoods on 2014-07-14 02:40:13
Well Dalfort what about PT then?
Posted by fidius on 2014-07-14 07:44:49
Interesting that most of the annoyance skills are also the ones you have to wait for the defender to use them. Wrestle, Side Step, Fend, Stand Firm, Diving Tackle, Shadowing, Tentacles. Ever played an Ogre team where the coach wasn't paying attention? Every time you hit a snotling you wait for 2 mins.... grrrrnnmphhh...

Lol. Yeah, got that right.

Prehensile Tail is a nice skill and often people forget it. Mix with diving tackle and it is really good.

I would take Prehensile Tail over Tentacles. It stacks. In 3 tacklezones with PT? -3.

So PT up the Warriors you think?

Team is ready to go and started with a win. Any feedback on the development schedule appreciated.

Cheers.
