Mad Screamers update
After Coach Uedder Street's breakout of rage in the post-game press conference, where he threatened to fire the next elf to roll a double 1, the Mad Screamers got their arses kicked by a Chaos Pact team.

The players seemed to be so worried about losing their job, that they accomplished not go snakes for the whole match, but bringing an overall mediocre performance.

To be honest, the big guys of "Malosissimo" played an awesome game, hitting hard every turn, missing just one turn overall in the whole game, and never causing a turnover.

Coach Street stated "I cannot blame the guys this time. There's nothing we could do against those big guys. That mino's performance was outstanding: never seen anything like that in my whole life!"

So came the first loss for the Screamers, who also lost their rookie thrower Brian Johnson, killed by the apo after a serious concussion.

"Me thought the problem was the head - said Mikeal Vannergort, head of the medical staff - so me thinks genius idea: Cut it off the head. No head, no problem. How could me know he could not grow a new one?". He was fired, and Screamers declared they'll never hire a mutant apothecary, ever again.

But the Screamers don't give up and they came all fired up for the following match against a team led by a legendary coach.

What an amazing game it was!

The game started with a fenomenal move by the usual journeyman, Yorick Strongsnake, who, after being knocked down on the LoS, made 3 multi TZ dodges (3+) and one gfi (with loner RR) to knock down the ball carrier.

Chris Cornell then failed the easy pick-up and got all nervous after Coach Street's threats at his employment. Next turn he was shaking with fear, and he went snake eyes, on an easy dodge! Had the match ended in that moment, Chris Cornell would've been fired.

But with amazing plays he played a crucial role in the unexpected victory, in a match that the opposing team decided to concede after the defensive TD scored by Cornell himself in turn 8. He was allowed to stay on the team, given the good performance after the initial debacle. But he'd better bring that kind of mental attitude everytime he steps on the pitch!

What a shame to see a human team concede a game so early in the match! That's not the fighting spirit human teams are reknown for!

Given to the unexpected extra cash, coach Street was able to hire a new blitzer.

We tried to persuade the Journeyman Yorick Strongsnake to become the team's blitzer, but his answer was:
"I was born a lineman, I will die a lineman, right on the LoS, where I belong". Respect.

So we parted ways from our one-day hero. Now all welcome mister Corey Taylor, the new Screamer!

Will he bring the same determination Strongsnake showed? Will he become the greatest Screamer to take the pitch? Only time will tell...
