Personally, I'm really disappointed that a min-max team can do so well. Not surprising from that coach though, to go and try and destroy utopia. Hopefully he'll find more fun shirt coptering defenseless noobs on bb2.

Nothing against the team, the coach or the result, just wondering how they got in in the first place after a friend pointed it out to me.

It confused me too. See my post on Crook's blog. I commend your Cheaterz, that's in the Stunty philosophy. But gaming the system for wins with stripped down FGs.........fortunately I had zero respect for the guy before that, so he can't drop any further in my books.

I have asked him when i had to play against him:

"There was an issue with getting my exploding cup prize so i couldnt apply in time. When some ppl dropped out they let some ppl in the losers bracket."

That's why an undefeated team was in the loozer bracket... :)

I don't mind some Jimmy bashing (he can take it, right?) but I'm not really following HM here either O_o
there's skilled linemen, 3 RRs, all positionals and the hobgobbo.. are you perhaps mistaken HM? Or are we missing something?

I wasn't sure I could play the Cup due to personal reasons (cf my last blog), so I contacted Shadow before the competition, and asked him if I could join anyways, knowing there were 50% chances I couldn't play. He didn't put my team in the main draw, but they instead were a reserve for the losers bracket (and they still have a 30 games undefeated streak).

I guess the same happened to the team you're referring to...

Jimmy missed the start because of my slowness getting things going with his XCup prize. I also had to drop out after forfeiting the first round, so he took my spot as the first in line as a sub after Kam couldn't play either. No gaming the system.
