Looking for a new challenge?
...Then how about joining the Old World Challenge Cup, and seeing if you can work your way to the top of the pile?
We are still looking for a few new coaches again to replace out-going teams for our fifth season.
We're a small-ish league (28 coaches) with an unusual format - a short swiss-style league followed by knock-out tournaments - that guarantees a fast and furious season, with everything to play for even at the end of the season!
New teams will start in the new second-tier Kislev Conference (along with a group of other completely new teams), with a chance to get promoted to the main conferences after their first season.
If you can play in European-friendly times, and either have past league experience or have been around on FUMBBL for a while, you're exactly who we are looking for! Send me a PM to apply.

Sounds good. Too bad I can't commit more right now. :-( Would love to play another team like the Chain Breakers ( https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=740770 ) or some (to me) new race with similar fluff... or good old dwarves and see how far I can really get with a sensibly built team. :-)

Actually I have seen so many nice leagues I'd love to join, it's going to be a tough choice. Well, if I ever feel like I can afford it.

Seems like there went some dedication in the group page, i like it, indicates it might be worthwhile so i might be interested. Is there a TV limit for the new Kislev division? I have a 2k+ darkie team that i might apply with, when they are free from their current tourneys.

Hi Albinv - glad you like the group page! There is no expected coaching level: everyone is welcome, as long as you are dedicated to playing at least one full season. Unfortunately though, we only accept new teams in to the league.

I can confirm that OWCC is an awesome group which I can totally recommend to join!
Only reason I've left is that I've decided to stop playing in all league with official POMB-rules in place (ironically after speccing the OWCC-final, where a single Clawpomber completely ruined what might have been a great game otherwise).

Thanks for getting back. Too bad i cant move en with a build team (not too crazy about playing rookie teams or starting a lot of rosters).
But im definitely on the lookout for a fairly mixed new league to join, had a peak at the member list and it seems an ok mix of coaches.
I'll have to make decisions in the next days then i reckon. So when is the deadline for applications actually? :)
