Well, after five and a half years and 1,163 games, I've finally managed to build a legend. It seems like the done thing is to blog about it, so here you go.

Elorka is the star ball-carrier on my oldest team, the Queens Park Raiders (who have played 120 games in WIL, one of the best leagues on this site). Things started out promising for him when he rolled +ST as his second skill, but he then rolled three normal skills, making him functional rather than exciting. He recently suffered a -MA and a niggle (I'd use my healing potion on him if I was allowed to by the league rules), and was stuck on 173 SPP for several games.

That was partly my fault: I had the chance to make him a legend a few games ago, but royally screwed it up. He was stalling by the opposition endzone, and I lost track of time, and missed the chance to score. That was definitely a Really Stupid moment.

Anyway, in our last game (a 2-0 win against Wotfudboy's Amazons, mainly thanks to Nuffle) he finally scored and earned that sixth skill. And it was a 4+6 - so he has gained back some of his lost speed. I thought about giving him the +AV, but better to live fast and die young, right? (NB. It is definitely not better to live fast and die young - give me slow and immortal anyday)

Elorka has played 71 games across 12 seasons, scoring 41 touchdowns, causing 8 casualties, earning 7 MVP awards, and completing 2 passes. He has even committed 2 fouls in his time.

I expect he will probably be killed in his 72nd game.
