Yeah really interesting. I think I'm going to try it. I might try some of the fan converts of Warhammer from earlier versions too. A lot of 8th ed Warhammer stuff was already too much for me. A nod to the out of control 4th edition 'Hero Hammer'. Sadly, by the end they were really creating crazy stuff to sell figures.

There is already a great Warhammer total conversion mod out there, M2TW may be an older version, but it is far more moddable than the current TW game engine and therefore gives a superior all round experience - if slightly worse graphics:

Just downloaded medieval 2 and call of warhammer mod to wait in the meantime, and yeap it looks great, saving money for a new graphical cards for this one.

The total war series is great strategy (both battle and campaign): looking forward to this!
