Deep in his mind he can hear the announcers. At first it is just mumbles and he cant understand. He starts to stir, his memory coming back.
That is when he hears the voices talking about the Grotty Little Trounament about to kick off in Altdorf....memories come flashing back, good times, a time that he wants to come back to.
Sounds, all around him, men and beast are yelling, daemons. His eyes slowly open up, it is dark, smell of tobacco and warpstone. The old smell of whiskey, beer and ale.
A familar voice, no, voices are talking. Once again talking about how to break out and return. Talk of Blood Bowl, return to glory and the challenge of a major.
His eyes open again...he scans around the dark tavern....

I don't think there has been a major discussion thread for a good couple of years and (imo) majors have lost a little bit of their magic along the way. Whether that's down to a poor ruleset, familiarity amongst an aging playing base or Trump, I couldn't say. Though it's probably Trump...everything else is. Nice to see you (probably briefly) back. |

The Blood Sea Buccaneers have decided they will die like men to get back to Altdorf and man the ship and make a break out attempt from Grotilex's Glare Lighthouse in the southern wastes.
As they leave the harbor they can see the corsairs of the evil prince already to pounce on them. It most likely will be a running battle all the way back against the ships of Chaos.
Will the Buccaneers make it in time? |

I might take Dorf again 'cos we ran it close in the UI, and I feel they can bother the most powerful rosters. Grind out a tedious draw in normal time, and hope the opposition is reduced to dregs by Overtime!
I'd love to take IronGolems - Necro - but we will finish regular Season 2 first and develop them with a bit more Tackle & Guard. (not so easy to get games, just missed out in Box draw hence forum chattering) |

Yea low tv humans, and they have to go into the Old Teams quali, will probably get a lot of inducments
But their star players are OK https://fumbbl.com/p/stars?for=Old+World+Classic at least
Season2 games in box, also yea it's not easy to get games when building for tourney sometimes |

the result is always the same it seems when Dwarfs and Wood Elfs square off.

Ahah yes that's my qualifier too, it's a bit stacked with tryhard coaches and the best possible result for the rest of us is that elyod goes through but after murker destroys his team
The replay is wild, one of the best major opening round matches I can remember
